CREATIVE FABRICA - Online Video Content

Creative Fabrica is a subscription-based online hub for all things creative;

They provide instant access to numerous types of digital and analog arts & crafts materials, resources, free + premium fonts, stock graphics & imagery - just to name but a few assets from their giant, ever-growing content library.

They got in touch with us in late 2021, when they were planning to add online video classes to their offering, asking if we would be interested in collaborating in a series of 30+ mins long graphic design classes, which they would make available exclusively for their subscribers.

We said yes…

DIGITAL PATTERN DESIGN CLASS

In this class we taught students, how to create vector design patterns which could later on be utilized in print as part of packaging design projects, or digital assets for web design – offering brands that little bit of an extra asset, most designers might not think of to set them apart from the crowd in terms of design & branding.

CREATIVE MAP ILLUSTRATION CLASS

This class is the final installment of a 5-part class series focusing on how to create digital map illustrations rom scratch. In this specific last class, we gathered, exported, and assembled all the raw design assets we have created in the previous lessons, like our landmarks, special features and our basic map design – in order to finish this series by creating your final, beautifully illustrated digital map design.

SINCE THEN…

The idea of making online video classes turned out to be a huge success for the platform. As of mid-2022, Creative Fabrica has about 700 original video classes created by over 190 teachers wordwide, sharing their creative knowledge, covering multiple different categories - not only graphic design, but also paper crafts, sewing, cake decorating & scrap booking, to name a few.

Graphic Design is, and has been in the top performing class categories since the inception of video classes. While we cannot take full credit for that of course, we proud ourselves to be an early part of this well-oiled content machine!
